Your primary care veterinarian has excellent training in veterinary medicine and acts as a family practice physician to your pet. But just as with human medicine, there are occasions when your veterinarian might want assistance or suggest a referral to a specialist to better meet your pet's needs. Referral of your pet to our service demonstrates your family veterinarian's desire to provide the best care for your pet.
A complete report will be mailed or faxed to your veterinarian within 24 hours after your visit.
Please provide pertinent information (e.g. referral letter, records from your veterinarian regarding medical history and therapy, lab work) prior to or at the time of your first appointment. Follow-up management is shared between our service and your family veterinarian and is based on the nature of the ocular condition. Your family veterinarian will continue to provide all routine care for your pet.
